How to spend it 💸

A responsible, well-considered plan for HK$98,000,000.

Tier 1 · Warming up

Quit your job with a single voice memo that is just 47 seconds of laughing.
Buy a parking space in Central. Do not park in it. Frame the deed.
Order one of everything at the cha chaan teng, including the dishes you hate, then leave.
Solid 24k gold Octopus card. It does not tap. You explain this to the bus driver every single morning.
Fly to Tokyo for one bowl of ramen. Be home before dinner. Tell no one where you went.

Tier 2 · Poor judgement

Charter a helicopter to skip the Friday drive to Sai Kung. Land on the seafood restaurant.
Buy the minibus route you used to take to work. Keep the fare exactly the same, out of spite.
Commission a 12-metre bronze statue of the winning numbers for your building's void deck. Unveil it yourself, to yourself.
Purchase every egg tart on Hong Kong Island before 9am. Do not distribute them.
Hire a man whose only job is to appear at 7pm and say "you were right about that."

Tier 3 · Full supervillain

Build a wave pool shaped like a 6. Refuse to explain the second pool.
Acquire a small vineyard solely so your email signature can say "vintner."
Fund a peer-reviewed study proving the numbers were destiny. Fund a second one when the first one fails.
Replace your entire wardrobe with 60 identical outfits, cartoon-character style, and never once address it.
Buy the flat upstairs, the flat downstairs, and both neighbours' flats. Live in the middle one. Silence, at last.
